Public Workshops

Public meetings will be held throughout the study to solicit public input and guidance. All meeting dates will be posted here, so please check back as new events are added throughout the project.

All workshops are held at the Fairfax Women’s Club, 46 Park Road (see map below).

6:30 p.m., June 29, 2016 – Meadow Way Bridge
The workshop will include a discussion of the most recent information on the Town’s efforts to repair and replace the Meadow Way Bridge. Participants will hear updates and news about bridge replacement, creek bank erosion protection, and the construction process.

November 20, 2013 – Meadow Way Bridge
A Public Workshop on the Meadow Way Bridge project was held to present information and gather public input.
January 29, 2014 – Creek Road and Bridge Preventive Maintenance Program
A Public Workshop was held to present information and gather public input on the Creek Road Bridge Rehabilitation Project, and the three Preventive Maintenance projects (Spruce, Canyon, and Marin Road bridges).

    On Wednesday, June 3, the Town of Fairfax Council unanimously adopted the CEQA document for the project. The following three documents are a result of that process and finalize the CEQA document’s acceptance by the Town of Fairfax.

    – Meadow Way PowerPoint CEQA_NEPA – an overview of WRA’s environmental studies, presented to the Town Council on 3/4/20.
    – CIC Presentation 3-4-20 Ver 2 – CIC’s documentation, presented to the own Counil on 3/4/20.
    The decision for adoption of the Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration (IS/MND) has been extended to the next regularly scheduled Town Council meeting on Wednesday, April 1st.  All interested neighbors and members of the public are invited to attend.
